Organization history:

Chugach National Forest and other state & federal resource agencies to restore impacted habitat since 1997.  Providing hands on educational outreach and summer job opportunities for local youth and volunteers while promoting and encouraging the development of a sense of pride and ownership for they’re grassroots accomplishments. Operating for nearly eleven years  as a 501 © 3 non profit organization YRC has worked along side resource users in south central Alaska’s growing 2.5 billion dollar tourism industry. Restoring over four miles of stream bank habitat for the benefit of all user groups, involving more than nearly 3000 teenage y Youth Restoration Corps has been working in cooperation with the youth from across the nation in outreach education, and stewardship.
